Meet Pastor Sam

Sam Watkins has been the Lead Pastor at Timber Creek Community Church since it began. He has a deep passion for the city of Oklahoma City and loves seeing people discover their God-given purpose.

Before church planting, Sam retired from the Army and is a former first responder. He has served in various ministry roles across Oklahoma and South Carolina. Sam became a believer at the age of 33 and believes that the church should be the most welcoming place on earth, where anyone can belong before they believe.

When he's not at the church, you can usually find him overseeing the day-to-day operations of Tinker Business and Industrial Park, spending time with his wife, Raigon, or doing whatever his grandsons tell him to do!
